If you ever traveled with your pet and had to pay what seemed to be high fees for nothing, you've got to check out this piece in the Washington Post.
It seems some folks fed up with the fees have taken to lying in some rather audacious ways to save money.
There's a woman whose brought her Chihuahua on as carry-on without telling the airline. There's another who dressed her pitbull in an outfit that looked service dog-ish to get him into a fancy hotel. Others have tried bribing dog behaviorists to get their dog certified as a service animal.
With fees at times costing as much as the human's ticket, people feel they have no choice but to lie. It reminds me a bit of Nicole's creative use of the stroller.)
Have you ever strayed from the truth to get out of a pet fee -- or at least thought about it? Do tell...
