When the Steelers acquired a fifth-round pick from the Jets for Santonio Holmes this week, they moved past the Browns for most picks in the AFC North with 11.
Pittsburgh has single picks in each of the first four rounds, and four picks in the fifth, ranging from No. 151 overall to 166. The pick acquired from the Jets, No. 155, originally belonged to the Eagles.
The Ravens have the fewest picks of any team in the division with five. Only two are in the first four rounds.
Contrast that to the Browns (10 overall picks, five in the first three rounds) and the Bengals (nine overall, six in the first four rounds) and you realize why the Ravens want more picks.
The Ravens made be the favorite to win the division, but the other teams will get an infusion of young talent for down the road.
