After two more horses this morning were ruled out of the 136th running of the Kentucky Derby, Lookin At Lucky was made the 3-1 favorite at today's draw.
Lookin At Lucky drew the first post position for Saturday's race at Churchill Downs in Louisville. Trainer Bob Baffert will be looking for his fourth Derby crown with Lookin At Lucky.
Santa Anita Derby winner Sidney's Candy (5-1 odds), Florida Derby winner Ice Box (10-1), Devil May Care (10-1) and Awesome Act (10-1) were considered the other top contenders. Lookin At Lucky finished third in the Santa Anita Derby.
This morning, Endorsement (ankle injury) was scratched and Interactif was not entered.
On Sunday, likely favorite Eskendereya was pulled from the race with a front left leg injury. It was the second year that a pre-race favorite was scratched because of injury. I Want Revenge was pulled the morning of the race because of an ankle injury.
