After posting a picture of herself in an extremely low-cut outfit, holding a kitty by the scruff, Kim Kardashian is getting a fair amount of hate from feline fans.
The reality TV star posted the picture on her Twitter account, writing, "Pic from my photoshoot yesterday...good kitty cat." The black cat is kind of dangling from her hand as she pouts for the camera.
The Twitter universe complained loudly about the safety of the cat. To the point that Kardashian addressed the situation on her blog.
She wrote: "I have been getting negative comments regarding the way I was holding the kitty, but rest assured, the owner and vet were on set and showed me how to pick him up. ...
The cat was not harmed in any way and is perfectly fine! I love animals and would never do anything to harm any animals."
Judging by some of the comments to that entry on her blog, folks weren't entirely convinced.
So what's the verdict? Is she holding the kitty like an animal lover?
