The New York Jets made the first move for Neil Rackers, scheduling a Tuesday visit with the free-agent kicker.
It's an interesting turn of events because the Arizona Cardinals signed former Jets kicker Jay Feely on Friday, forcing Rackers to look elsewhere.
Rackers would have to battle Nick Folk for the Jets kicker job.
The Ravens contacted Rackers last month, but they haven't scheduled a meeting with him.
