Quarterback, Washington

Campbell hasn't developed as expected. He has a 20-32 record as a starter. Some of his struggles can be attributed to the same erratic behavior of the organization.

2006: Santonio Holmes

Wide receiver, Pittsburgh

In four years in Pittsburgh, Holmes caught 235 passes for 3,835 yards and scored 20 touchdowns. He was the Most Valuable Player in the 2009 Super Bowl. But off-the-field troubles quickly jettisoned Holmes to the New York Jets for a mere fifth-round pick. He has since been suspended four games.

Verdict: Hit

2007: Jon Beason

Linebacker, Carolina

A two-time Pro Bowl player who often gets overlooked because the Panthers haven't been a marquee team. Beason has played in the NFC shadow of San Francisco's Patrick Willis.

Verdict: Hit

2008: Mike Jenkins

Cornerback, Dallas

Jenkins has put together two solid seasons. He made his first Pro Bowl last season after leading the Cowboys with five interceptions and 23 pass deflections.

2009: Vontae Davis

Cornerback, Miami

Davis was surprisingly beat out by second-round pick Sean Smith in training camp. But when Smith was injured, Davis replaced him and made nine starts the rest of the way, becoming the first rookie cornerback to lead the Dolphins in interceptions since Lloyd Mumphord in 1969.

Verdict: Undecided
