The leaderboard looked pretty wacky after last night's Dancing With the Stars performance show, including swing dance marathon. So who the heck knows what is going to happen on tonight's results show!

Right off the bat, we get a few results. Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are safe.

The dance reprisal of the night is Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke's Argentine tango. After that, we get a performance by Melissa Etheridge.

More results: Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke are safe -- and joyful about it to the point that you can hear the judges laughing.

Next, there is a performance by guitarist Benise and his dancers.

Then there is a Sports Science segment that examines the strength, balance and precision of Dmitry and Edyta, using cutting-edge technology that is pretty amazing. My favorite part was that when they were dancing together, the pair had the same angles in their legs within about 1 degree and that their footwork only varied by 0.002 seconds. Crazy! I often want to fast-forward through some of these segments, but I had no desire for that this time. (What I'm saying is, this was way more interesting than Adam Carolla.)

Melissa Etheridge performs again, while Alec and Edyta dance, and when their dancing ends, the sound is cut off, but Melissa appears to still be playing. She doesn't look too pleased about that.

More results: Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower and Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough are called forward. Nicole and Derek are safe; Jake and Chelsie have to wait. Oh, not this again. Sigh.

Results again: Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood are safe.

The last three have to wait.

Finally, the real results: In the bottom two are Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower. The last non-bottom-two couple is Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya, leaving Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel as the other couple in the bottom two.

The ousted couple is Jake and Chelsie. He's seriously bummed, but he thanks all the people who have been voting for him. He says he considers everyone his family, and he thanks Chelsie and starts crying and tells her how much he loves her and how nice she was "to my beautiful fiance Vienna."
