As part of the online coverage leading up to the NFL draft, The Sun will look at prospects who could be available for the Ravens with the 25th overall pick.
Cornerback-kick returner, Florida State
There are some draft experts that rank Robinson as the No. 2 cornerback in the draft behind Florida's Joe Haden. But selecting this extremely gifted cornerback in the first round could be considered risky.
Robinson, who interviewed with the Ravens at the NFL combine, has the size and skills to become a top man-cover corner. Some think he is the most explosive athlete to come out of Florida State since Antonio Cromartie.
"When I was at FSU we would play a lot of man to man," Robinson said. "So playing these good teams like Florida, it's been some help for me as far as preparing against the best."
But Robinson comes with some baggage. He was involved in an academic cheating scandal that led to his suspension from the Music City Bowl and the first three games of the 2008 season. He also has a reputation for being a freelancer in coverage, which could lead to some conflicts with the coaching staff.
Whether Robinson will be available for the Ravens will depend on the Houston Texans at No. 20. Will they select Robinson or Boise State's Kyle Wilson?
