As part of the online coverage leading up to the NFL draft, The Sun will look at prospects who could be available for the Ravens with the 25th overall pick.
Dan Williams
Nose tackle, Tennessee
Part of the Ravens' draft success is prospects unexpectedly falling to them, from Ray Lewis to Michael Oher. It'll be interesting to see if their draft magic continues with Williams, who is a top 15 talent.
It seems like the chances of Williams sliding to Ravens would be slim. The most popular destination for Williams in mock drafts is Miami at No. 12. Others have him going to Cleveland (No. 7), Denver (No. 11), Seattle (No. 14) and Houston (No. 20).
Drafting Williams would address a need for the Ravens. Longtime nose tackle Kelly Gregg is starting to show some wear-and-tear after having surgery on his knee in 2008 and on his shoulder this offseason.
Williams is a coveted prospect because he is tough to move inside but is still is light on his feet. There have been questions regarding his stamina and his ability to finish off plays.
