The episode opens, as usual, with a glimpse of the crew after last episode's boardroom. Sharon is telling the camera it's not fun because the dynamic of the women's team is such a nasty drag and she wants to go home.
Well....looks like she won't have to play with those meanies anymore....
When it's back to the business at hand, we head to the roof of a building where Trump is playing golf with Melania and his son. Trump switches up the teams!
Oh no... apologies.... I have DirectTV and this is where the storm came in and knocked the satellite out for a few minutes..... Hopefully that will be it for the interruptions, but it's still pouring.....
OK. The teams are creating celebrity workout classes. Tenacity is now Summer, Cyndi, Curtis and Holly. They're thinking of a gym class called Buns and Guns. Holly is in charge.
Rock Solid is Bret, Sharon and Maria. Sharon is in charge. They're thinking Rock Star Boot Camp. They're also thinking they should have fun with folks, not try to be the gym experts they're not.
Curtis and Summer meet with the 24-hour Fitness gym managers. They're very serious about coming up with a real gym class. Holly is raising money by calling people on the phone but I'm not sure why. Cyndi is out of town for some reason on other with Lady Gaga.
At Rock Solid, it's only like 15 minutes into the show and Bret has already fawned over two women -- the gym representative and the graphic designer. Is there any woman he doesn't find hot? They're being really, um, crude in their class conception, which will go on a poster -- telling the graphic designer to mention their cussing experts and gynecological pros. An interesting workout, this will be.
Ah, it's Cyndi. She's out of town for whatever reason and is working with Tenacity. She's talking fundraising with Holly. It looks like the celebrities are supposed to be paying to attend the classes and donating a lot of money.
Rock Solid misspells stuff on their printed materials. Like muscle. At Tenacity, Holly and Curtis are fundraising their pants off and Summer is feeling vulnerable cause she apparently doesn't know any rich people. Curtis and Summer are off to the gym. Holly is stays put to make more money calls.
Maria is designing the workout. 24-hour fitness is giving extra money, $24,000, to the team with the best class. It's a huge incentive to have a good workout. Bret is enjoying watching Maria. And, gotta love Bret -- he mentions it's a "Good Bret Day" thanks to all the eye candy. And then he works on his own "gun show" a bit. At least he's not a phony.
Summer and Curtis realize they forgot music. They call Holly to ask her to help. Summer took the CD with her, so they have to go back to the apartment to get it to Holly. They're running out of time. Oh, and now Holly who was all optimism 10 minutes ago says she "isn't feeling confident."
Sharon, meanwhile, is courting the WWE to get donations. WWE is giving $30,000 by themselves. They have a goal of raising $100,000. Cyndi got money for Tenacity from Lady GaGa, Nicole Miller and her own mother.
It's class time! Summer is worried she won't fill her classes. But Bret pulled people out of the gutter -- or who know's where -- including one married woman who tells him he's on her "top 5" guys she'd cheat on her husband with. Unclear if he finds her hot, too. But probably.
Summer teaches the first class to two people. A couple others trickle in. Awkward. The second class is better thanks to Cyndi's recruitment.
Rock Solid iis pretty packed. And Maria is a lively teacher. Sharon wanders the room with a whip. The class seems to be having actual fun. The gym person judging the class, though, seems a bit turned off by the tour bus thrust.
The gym rep tells the camera that she liked Tenacity's solid, balanced work-out. But she seemed to really like the upbeat nature of Rock Solid's, a few points off for the R-rated stuff.
Oh no. Another storm wave. I'm missing more...
We're back. Holly just got a $50,000 donation. Sharon got a $25,000 one. Holly gets a teary and says no matter what happens, she loves everyone. Even Cyndi?
Boardroom time! Maria is wearing something that looks like a figure skating costume gone bad. Sharon tells Trumps she is "in heaven" with her team and is glad to get away from the old one. Holly says she's happy to be working with Curtis. But she doesn't think her team won, because of Sharon's connections.
Rock Solid gets the extra $24,000 -- by a mile. The gym pros loooooved the rock star workout -- even the tour bus thrust. They might be doing this soon at a gym near you!
Rock Solid raised $131,803. Tenacity got $206,090. Holly won. Her charity gets all of the money. Damn! That's the largest amount ever raised for an Apprentice task, not counting finales. She's going to use the money to build an autism treatment center.
Sharon says it's only fair that she takes the blame and goes. Trump decides not to fire anyone. No one!
