Former Ravens quarterback Kyle Boller joined his third NFL team, signing with the Oakland Raiders.
Boller reunites with Hue Jackson, the Raiders' offensive coordinator who was Boller's quarterbacks coach with the Ravens in 2008.
An injury to Bruce Gradkowski (torn pectoral muscle) prompted the Raiders to sign Boller, who is expected to compete against JaMarcus Russell for the starting job.
The 19th overall pick in the 2003 draft, Boller played for the Ravens from 2003 to 2008. He was the backup quarterback for the St. Louis Rams last season, throwing for three touchdowns and six interceptions.
