Some downtown Baltimore retailers will offer bargains and discounts in conjunction with the end of tax season.
It's being dubbed as unofficial tax-free shopping during Baltimore Retail Week, April 16-25. Nearly 60 downtown retailers will offer six percent or more off purchases.
The week is spearheaded by retail marketing firm Epps Consulting and supported by Downtown Partnership of Baltimore.
The week is aimed to promote shopping downtown.
Both large national chains and small independent boutiques will offer deals. And many of them appear to be outside of downtown as well. Kashmir Imports, featured in the photo above, is one of the participating retailers.
