You might be able to find a lower fare leaving from airports in Washington, New York or Philadelphia. But then you'll have to factor in the cost of traveling to that airport --- and figure out where to park your car if you're driving.
We've told you before about bestparking.com, an airport parking price comparison site, but what if the flights you prefer leave early in the morning, or late at night?

Check ParkSleepFly.com to book a night at an airport hotel --- and get free or cheap parking for your car in the hotel parking lot, as well as a shuttle to and from the airport.
Most of these packages include at least seven days of free parking. My test search near Dulles showed that some hotels charged an extra $5 per day for additional days (although there were also additional packages with longer parking stays).
