As the start of free agency draws near, it sounds like the Ravens might have competition for wide receiver Derrick Mason.
There is speculation that the Miami Dolphins will show interest in Mason. The Dolphins apparently are looking hard at the wide receiver market.
Mason said last month that he would return if he could get more than a one-year contract, and Ravens coach John Harbaugh said the team is willing to do that.
The Ravens believe they have a solid chance at retaining Mason. Their biggest concern was the Tennessee Titans because Mason's children live in Nashville.
