There is increasing speculation that George Kokinis is returning to the Ravens.
Kokinis was fired as the Cleveland Browns general manager on Nov. 2, less than one year after being hired. He was the director of pro personnel for the Ravens from 2003 to 2008.
At the NFL combine last weekend, Kokinis was spotted with Ravens officials. A league source said Kokinis is also back living in his Baltimore area home. The Ravens probably wouldn't announce a move until after the NFL draft in April.
Asked at the combine if Kokinis had rejoined the Ravens, coach John Harbaugh said, "Not that I'm aware of."
If the Ravens bring back Kokinis, they'll likely have to be creative with his title. After he left for the Browns, the team named Eric DeCosta its director of player personnel and promoted Vince Newsome to director of pro personnel, which was Kokinis' old job.
