By now, everyone knows it's official: Reality TV mom Kate Gosselin is one of the contestants on the new version of "Dancing with the Stars" that starts March 22 on ABC.
All those mirrors, all that narcissism.
Not that there aren't some real pieces of crazed ego work among the other contestants, like one-time Hollywood bad girl Shannen Doherty and NFL wide receiver and all around flake Chad Ochocinco (Johnson).
Also on the show will be: Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek, ESPN's Erin Andrews, astronaut Buzz Aldrin and Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Dolls).
Want more? Aiden Turner ("All My Children") and Niecy Nash ("Reno 911"), Pamela Anderson ("Baywatch") and Jake Pavelka ("The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love.")
What do you think of this mix? Is there anyone here who will make you watch -- or not watch? Is this a fast stop on the slippery and steep downside of pop celebrity -- or do you think being on this show is something these folks can rightfully be proud of?
