After a week mainly spent with doctors and physical therapists, I am going to be back among my fellow journalists Sunday, and I am really looking forward to it.
At 11 a.m. Sunday (ET), I'll be on CNN's "Reliable Sources" talking about the media, healthcare coverage and the dangerous place that public discourse has gone in this nation. A lot of folks are responsible for the wrong turn we have taken in our national conversation, but if you haven't already seen it, please take a look at this video of NBC's Ann Curry questioning Senator John McCain about the incendiary langauge of Sarah Palin.
Despite some ideologically driven complaints, Curry's interview is a good one. I am glad she showed McCain up for his unwillingness to denounce Palin's incendiary and dangerous rhetoric. I guess it is OK for Palin to use the rhetoric of gun violence as long as she is coming to Arizona to campaign for you.
