Ravens free-agent Dwan Edwards left Denver and Seattle over the weekend without any deals. Does that mean Edwards could be returning to the Ravens? Well, it certainly doesn't hurt.
Denver has since signed defensive end Jarvis Green (four years with a maximum value of $20 million), which likely ends their interest in Edwards. By Edwards leaving empty-handed in two places, this could be an indication that the Ravens have a shot at retaining him.
Some teams could be worried about giving a long-term deal to Edwards, who had spinal fusion surgery in 2008.
Edwards, a second-round pick in 2004, took over for Trevor Pryce this season and started nine games. He finished 10th on the team with 50 tackles.
