ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" opened big Monday night with an audience of almost 24 million, according to tvbythenumbers.com.
The TV audience of 23.89 million viewers was the largest in the show's history -- up from last spring's debut, which was seen by 22.5 million.
The show also scored better with young viewers in the 18 to 49 year old demographic compared with last year
Taking up two of the three hours of prime time, "Dancing" led ABC to a win in the Monday night ratings.
