April is National Financial Literacy Month! Maryland Public Television is celebrating by airing Pursuit of the Dream: Building Credit for Life at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 1.
The documentary, produced by the Annie E. Casey Foundation and N.A.K. Production Associates, "sheds light on the pitfalls of poor economic decisions, and offers hope and help for people trying to improve their credit score and build financial stability." According to the foundation,
After the film, the host will be interviewing experts from local credit-counseling agencies, and viewers can call a toll-free number to receive guidance and referrals to other resources.
