Brad Bergesen said today that he isn't sure when he will get to pitch for the first time in an exhibition game. He's scheduled to throw today, Friday and Sunday, so Tuesday's game against the Rays looks like it might be the logical target date.
"I don't know,'' Bergesen said. "It could be Tuesday, but they might want me to throw one more time."
Bergesen has been throwing regularly and said he has not had any discomfort in his strained shoulder or the seriously bruised shin he suffered last season.
