Baltimore's National Aquarium is welcoming a new bundle of joy: a baby two-toed sloth born in late February.
The new addition will be part of the Upland Tropical Rain Forest.
The baby is the second sloth born at the aquarium. The first was its older brother, Howie.
The aquarium reports:
"Since birth, the baby sloth has been clinging to its mother and will remain that way for the first several weeks of life. The baby is approximately 8 inches long and born fully haired with its trademark claws. The sex of the baby sloth is undetermined..."
The sloth and its mother, Rose, are free roaming in their exhibit. Aquarium staff can't guarantee they will be visible during one's visit, but there is a good chance of spotting mom, baby or one of the adult males, including one named Arthur that comes out for programs.
