'The View' goes freak show route with Octomom

"The View" really does have to make a choice whether it wants to be taken seriously -- or whether it wants to be a freak show. Booking guest hosts like Nadya Suleman, a.k.a. Octomom, who appeared today, and Kate Gosselin, who arrives in March to promote her book of phony letters to her kids, takes it straight down the road to freak show.

Wednesday, Octomom said she might have yet another child, and of course, it instantly scored as a freak-show headline. (Though, in fairness, she also said she wouldn't have another kid at another point in the conversation.)

"If someday far, far, far in the future, when they're older, if I meet somebody, ...I'm not going to say 100 percent no," she said in Octomom-speak when asked about the possibility of having more kids. "I'm not going to say someday far in the future [I could] get married and want a baby with that person."

That's the way she talks -- sorry, I tried to edit it into something coherent. But basically, she said no, maybe, definitely maybe.
