Ravens center Matt Birk had an unexpected run-in last Sunday in Oakland when he met Raiders rookie defensive tackle Desmond Bryant. Both attended Harvard, which has produced more lawyers than NFL players.
"I told him, 'I didn't even know you existed,' " said Birk, a 12-year veteran. "He's a rookie, so it's good to replenish the pipeline once in a while, I guess."
