Until Monday night's 27-14 loss to the Green Bay Packers, no tight end had registered more than 78 receiving yards against the Ravens, and only the Minnesota Vikings' Visanthe Shiancoe had caught two touchdowns.
Then along came the Packers' Jermichael Finley, who caught seven passes for 79 yards and two touchdowns.
Tom Zbikowski, who filled in for five-time Pro Bowl free safety Ed Reed, said he almost broke up Aaron Rodgers' 2-yard alley-oop to Finley in the second quarter.
"I got a piece of it," Zbikowski said. "I'll have to watch the film and look at what I could have done better. I felt like I got my hand in there and tried to rip it out, but he held onto it."
Ravens coach John Harbaugh acknowledged that the 6-foot-5, 247-pound Finley posed a match-up problem for the defense.
"It is tough to cover a tight end," Harbaugh said. "Sometimes they will get you in a base package and have a guy out there who is probably more of a receiver than he is a tight end. They took advantage of that."
