Terps led -- for a moment

With Maryland trailing 14-13, receiver Adrian Cannon caught a swing pass, slipped a tackler and raced into the end zone for a 20-yard score on the opening possession of the fourth quarter. A two-point conversion pass failed, so Maryland led 19-14.

Offensive lineman R.J. Dill cupped his hand to the ear hole of his helmet as if it to say to the Florida State crowd, "Where's the noise now?"

But, just like that, the noise returned. The Seminoles regained the lead on their next possession when receiver Bert Reed raced 42 yards on an end around. A two-point conversion pass to Taiwan Easterling put Florida State ahead 22-19.
