Mangini says he understands Browns fans' wrath

As of now, fans of the Cleveland Browns are still being encouraged to join a protest calling for ticketholders to avoid going to their seats until after kickoff of Monday night's game against the Ravens as a way of showing their disenchantment with the state of the franchise.

Browns coach Eric Mangini, who spoke this morning with Baltimore media, said he can empathize with discouraged and disappointed fans.

"Browns fans are passionate, and that's what you love about them," he said. "They're frustrated, but I don't think anybody's more frustrated than we are. As a coaching staff, as players, it's a commitment to get things fixed. I respect the Cleveland Browns fans, I respect the passion they have for this team, the passion they have for this city, and we're going to work every single day as hard as we possibly can to make them proud."
