Offensive tackle Jared Gaither and wide receiver Demetrius Williams missed practice for the second straight day. Gaither, who suffered a scary neck injury in Sunday's 27-21 loss to the New England Patriots, shed the neck brace he wore Wednesday, but could not turn his neck when answering reporters' questions. Williams is dealing with an undisclosed illness.

Wide receiver Derrick Mason (neck) and linebacker Jarret Johnson (left shoulder) were upgraded to limited participation after not practicing Wednesday. Carr was limited for the second consecutive day by a sore groin.
