We should know pretty soon who will stay and who will go. The Orioles have two roster moves pending, with Brian Matusz starting tonight against the Tigers and Chris Waters twiddling his thumbs with hte major league club.

The Matusz move has to be made in the next few hours, and everybody is waiting to see if the Orioles take the path of least resistance -- Jason Berken or Kam Mickolio -- or make a tough decision involving disgruntled third baseman Melvin Mora. If I had to bet, I would guess the first move will be Berken. The move on Waters can wait, which also might give Andy MacPhail a little more time to see if anybody wants to take Melvin off his hands.

Of course, if the O's call Mora's bluff and offer him a chance to play somewhere else, he still might invoke his no-trade clause and force the club to either keep or release him.
