Norfolk left fielder Brandon Pinckney was 2-for-4 with two runs scored, and catcher Chad Moeller collected two hits.

Tides shortstop Blake Davis led off the game with a solo home run, and center fielder Jeff Fiorentino added a two-run shot in the fifth inning.
