The Triple-A Norfolk Tides host the Lehigh Valley IronPigs at Harbor Park, and the Double-A Bowie Baysox take on the New Britain Rock Cats at Prince George's Stadium.

The Single-A Frederick Keys play the Myrtle Beach Pelicans on the road, while the Single-A Delmarva Shorebirds face the Hagerstown Suns in another doubleheader at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.

There were a few transactions in the Orioles' minor league system, and at least one was a bit surprising.

Right-handed pitcher Radhames Liz, who appeared in the major leagues with the Orioles in each of the past three seasons, was demoted to Bowie from the Tides. The 26-year-old pitcher was once considered one of the Orioles' top prospects, but he hasn't lived up to expectations and has been passed by others. Liz will start for the Baysox tonight.

In order to make room at Bowie for Liz, the Orioles released relief pitcher Ryan Keefer.

Also, Tides relief pitcher Andy Mitchell rejoins the team from the temporary inactive list, and catcher Zach Booker was transferred from Norfolk to the IronBirds.
