The Triple-A Norfolk Tides return home to face the Buffalo Bisons, while the Double-A Bowie Baysox play a doubleheader on the road against the Trenton Thunder.

The Single-A Frederick Keys hosted the Lynchburg Hillcats at Harry Grove Stadium, and the Single-A Delmarva Shorebirds and Kannapolis Intimidators played a day game.

* Tillman is tentatively scheduled to return to the mound for the Tides after suffering a groin injury on May 23 against the Rochester Red Wings. The 21-year-old right-hander won five consecutive starts before leaving after two innings in Norfolk's 5-4 victory over Rochester. Tillman was 4-0 with a 2.63 ERA in five starts in May.

* The Tides (34-16) remain in first place in the International League South Division. They are 1 1/2 games ahead of the Durham Bulls (33-18). Buffalo (14-35) is in last place in the North Division, trailing the first-place Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees (32-19) by 17 games.Bowie Baysox (AA)

* Arrieta will start the first game of the doubleheader for the Baysox. The 23-year-old right-hander suffered back-to-back losses in his past two games, and he was only 2-3 with a 3.62 ERA in May. Arrieta allowed two runs and six hits in six innings against the Altoona Curve in his last start on May 28.

* In his first appearance for the Baysox, Egan tossed four scoreless innings against the Harrisburg Senators on May 29. The 24-year-old right-hander struck out two batters and allowed four hits in Bowie's 8-4 loss at Prince George's Stadium. Prior to being promoted to Double-A, Egan had a 1.50 ERA in 24 innings for the Shorebirds.

* The Baysox are in fourth place in the Eastern League Southern Division with a 25-23 record. They are 7 1/2 games behind the division-leading Akron Aeros (33-16). Trenton (26-22) is in second place in the Northern Division, trailing the Connecticut Defenders (28-22) by one game.

* In his last start, Britton gave up two runs (one earned) and four hits in seven innings against the Wilmington Blue Rocks on May 28. The 21-year-old left-hander collected five strikeouts and walked four batters in the Keys' 4-2 loss. Britton was 2-0 with a 2.57 ERA in five games during the month of May.

* With last night's loss to Lynchburg, the Keys dropped below .500. Frederick (25-26) trails the Hillcats (33-17) by 8 1/2 games in the Carolina League Northern Division.

Delmarva Shorebirds (A)
