Live: Baysox vs. Reading -- Notes and lineups

The Double-A Bowie Baysox host the Reading Phillies tonight in the finale of a three-game series at Prince George's Stadium, and I'll be providing periodic updates from the press box.

As hard as it was raining when I woke up this morning, it's amazing that it is a beautiful night here.

Honestly, it's actually pretty humid. I wouldn't be surprised if thunderstorms entered the picture later in the evening, but it looks like the game will at least be started on time.

Some game notes, courtesy of the two teams:

• In his past two games, Baysox catcher Adam Donachie is 5-for-6 with a home run, two doubles and seven RBIs. With that said, he's not in the starting lineup tonight.

• Bowie left-hander Chad Thall leads the Eastern League with 10 holds.

• The Phillies have been swept twice in 2009, and Bowie could make that three times with a win tonight.

• Reading pitchers have surrendered 67 home runs so far this season, which is the most in the Eastern League. However, the Phillies lead the league in fielding percentage (.984), and they have committed a league-low 38 errors.
