For the second consecutive week, a Single-A Frederick Keys player was honored as the Carolina League Player of the Week.

After Frederick center fielder Matt Angle received the award last week, outfielder Robbie Widlansky was selected for the week ending on June 21.

Widlansky batted .500 (12-for-24) with six RBIs and six runs scored during that span.

The 24-year-old outfielder was added to the Keys from extended spring training on May 19. In his first 20 games with Frederick, Widlansky has at least two hits in 11 contests. Overall, he is hitting .431 with 15 RBIs and 14 runs scored.

The Orioles selected Widlansky in the 11th round of the 2007 MLB draft.
