Norfolk Tides (AAA)

Opponent

at Toledo Mud Hens (6:30 p.m.)

Probable pitchers

Norfolk: Bobby Livingston (5-1, 3.80 ERA with the Double-A Bowie Baysox)

Toledo: Ruddy Lugo (3-4, 3.64 ERA)

Notes

* It's Chris Tillman's turn in the rotation for Norfolk, but he will be skipped because of the groin injury suffered in his last start. Left-hander Bobby Livingston will be promoted from Bowie to replace him, according to the Tides. Tillman is still listed as day-to-day, so I'll pass along any additional updates as I get them.

* Also, for those who asked about Oscar Salazar, the Tides say he will be back within the next few days. He suffered a hand injury in a collision at first base during Sunday's game against the Rochester Red Wings. Salazar hasn't played since leaving that game in the ninth inning.

* The Tides (30-15) continue to hold the best record in the International League, and they lead the Durham Bulls (29-17) by 1 1/2 games in the South Division. Toledo snapped a 10-game losing streak yesterday against Norfolk, and the Mud Hens are in last place in the West Division with an 18-28 record. They trail the first-place Columbus Clippers (24-23) by 5 1/2 games.Bowie Baysox (AA)

The Baysox suffered a 3-1 loss to Altoona earlier today. Bowie starting pitcher Jake Arrieta suffered the loss after giving up two runs and six hits in six innings. Designated hitter Danny Figueroa collected the only RBI for the Baysox.

Frederick Keys (A)

Opponent

at Wilmington Blue Rocks (6:35 p.m.)

Probable pitchers

Frederick: Zachary Britton (2-1, 2.66 ERA)

Wilmington: Mario Santiago (1-5, 5.40 ERA)

Notes

* With so many other talented pitching prospects in the Orioles' minor league system, Britton continues to fly under the radar. The 21-year-old left-hander is 2-0 with a 3.00 ERA in 21 innings during four games (three starts) in May. Britton gave up three runs and five hits in five innings in his last appearance on May 22 against the Kinston Indians. It was actually the completion of the suspended game between the two teams from May 17, so Britton wasn't credited with a start.

* With last night's win, the Keys returned to the .500 mark with a 23-23 record. They are still in last place in the Carolina League Northern Division, trailing the first-place Lynchburg Hillcats (29-16) by 6 1/2 games. Wilmington (23-22) is six games behind Lynchburg and in third place in the division.

Delmarva Shorebirds (A)

Opponent

Hickory Crawdads (7:05 p.m.)

Probable pitchers

Delmarva: Ryan O'Shea (3-2, 3.68 ERA)

Hickory: Yoon-Hee Nam (4-1, 0.95 ERA)

Notes

* O'Shea earned the victory against the Kannapolis Intimidators in his last start on May 23. The right-hander, who will turn 23 tomorrow, gave up one run and three hits in seven innings during the Shorebirds' 6-2 win. He struck out five batters and issued three walks. In four starts this month, O'Shea is 2-1 with a 2.66 ERA in 23 2/3 innings.

* Following yesterday's loss, the Shorebirds are in second place in the South Atlantic League Northern Division with a 24-19 record. They trail the first-place Lakewood BlueClaws (26-19) by one game, while fourth-place Hickory (24-22) is 2 1/2 games behind the division leaders.
