Recap: In his first start as a member of the Orioles' minor league system, Baysox left-hander Troy Patton (1-0) pitched five scoreless innings against the Akron Aeros. The 23-year-old pitcher gave up three hits and walked three hitters in Bowie's 3-0 victory. Patton struck out three batters.
Baysox first baseman Brandon Snyder was 1-for-4 with two RBIs. Catcher Guillermo Rodriguez led the Baysox with two hits, and he also scored a run. Designated hitter Paco Figueroa added a double and a run scored for Bowie.
