* Hanson is the No. 1 prospect in the Atlanta Braves' minor league system, according to Baseball America. Remarkably, the 22-year-old right-hander is 0-1 this season, but he has a 0.90 ERA in the two starts. He has 10 strikeouts in 9 2/3 innings for Frederick. In his last start, Matusz gave up three runs and four hits in five innings against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans on April 14.

* McKae is scheduled to make his first start for Salem after pitching with the Double-A Connecticut Defenders last season. The 27-year-old right-hander was 8-9 with a 4.57 ERA in 28 games (22 starts) for the Defenders. McKae struck out 74 hitters and issued 35 walks in 124 innings.
