* Tillman is scheduled to make his second start for the Tides after throwing four no-hit innings against the Charlotte Knights on April 13. The 21-year-old right-hander struck out five batters and issued three walks in Norfolk's 7-0 victory.

* Redmond allowed two runs and seven hits in his first start of the season against the Durham Bulls on April 13. The 23-year-old right-hander collected four strikeouts and walked one hitter in the Braves' 3-0 loss. Redmond was 13-5 with a 3.52 ERA in 28 games (27 starts) for the Double-A Mississippi Braves last season.

* The Baysox just announced that right-hander Sean Gleason was promoted from Frederick. The 23-year-old right-hander suffered the loss in his only start for Frederick on April 13 against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Gleason allowed four runs and four hits in 4 2/3 innings in that start. He also pitched one scoreless inning in a relief appearance against the Salem Red Sox on April 10.

* Although it was Gleason's turn in the rotation at Frederick, the Baysox said Livingston will still start tonight's game against Akron. Livingston is 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA in two appearances (one start) for Bowie this season. The 26-year-old left-hander allowed one run and six hits in five innings against the Erie SeaWolves on April 13.

* Wright picked up the win after giving up two runs and seven hits in five innings against the Baysox on April 11. The 24-year-old right-hander struck out four batters and issued one walk in Akron's 12-2 victory over Bowie.

* Mariotti makes his first start of the season in Gleason's spot in the rotation for Frederick. Mariotti is 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA in three relief appearances this season. The 24-year-old right-hander, who made six starts for Delmarva in 2008, has given up two runs (one earned) and four hits in six innings.

* Garrison is making his second start for Salem after being used exclusively as a relief pitcher with the short-season Single-A Lowell Spinners during his first professional season in 2008. The 23-year-old right-hander gave up five runs and six hits in four innings during Salem's 8-6 loss to the Potomac Nationals on April 13. He was 2-1 with a 1.45 ERA in 22 relief appearances for Lowell last season.

* Frederick's Kraig Binick is batting .333 (11-for-33) with one home run and six RBIs in nine games this season. The 24-year-old outfielder has three doubles and five runs scored. He hit .255 with two home runs and 23 RBIs in 44 games while splitting time between the rookie-level Gulf Coast League Orioles and the short-season Single-A Aberdeen IronBirds in 2008.

* Nery earned the victory after allowing two runs and five hits in five innings during his first start of the season against the Lakewood BlueClaws on April 12. The 23-year-old left-hander also threw one scoreless inning in a relief appearance against Lakewood on April 9. For the season, Nery has struck out four hitters and issued three walks in six innings.

* In his first start of the season against Lakewood on April 13, McFarland gave up nine runs (eight earned) and nine hits in three innings. The 19-year-old left-hander was 3-4 with a 5.07 ERA in 12 games (10 starts) for the rookie-level Gulf Coast League Indians in 2008.

* After winning four of the first five games this season, the Shorebirds have suffered three consecutive losses. Delmarva has a 4-4 record, which is 1 1/2 games behind the Kannapolis Intimidators in the South Atlantic League's Northern Division.
