Orioles: More about Koji

Koji Uehara had a history of leg problems in Japan, so the Japanese media wasn't particularly surprised that he was getting treatment today for a hamstring strain. He told them that he feels like he'll have plenty of time to build his stamina for the regular season.

He has made two Grapefruit League starts and one start against the Dominican national team, and still figures to get three more exhibition starts even if he misses his next two scheduled games. That would give him six spring starts, which is about the normal number for someone who figures to be near the front of the regular season rotation.
