Former Padres, Rangers and Phillies pitcher Adam Eaton said a little while ago that he's looking forward to pitching in Camden Yards and reviving a career that ran aground in Texas and Philadelphia over the past three years.

"I look forward to getting acquainted with Camden Yards,'' he said. "From what I understand, it's a little bit bigger than Citizens Bank, so it will be a little more relaxing with a little more grass in the outfield. And, obviously, the defense they put out on the field is second to none, so I'm looking forward to that, too."

Manager Dave Trembley said Eaton would get no special consideration over the rest of the pitchers in camp because of his experience and former status as a first-round draft choice. The club will get him into the mix as soon as he's ready and he'll compete on the same level as the large group of other candidates to fill the final spots in the rotation.
