Jackman gives Oscars a big musical opening

Shades of Billy Crystal -- host Hugh Jackman and producers Bill Condon and Lawrence Mark (Dreamgirls) certainly gave the Oscars telecast a big opening, one that is sure to keep viewers at least until the first commercial break. Well, older viewers anyway.

The number spoofed/celebrated the films nominated as best picture. The best moment: the spoof of Nixon/Frost with Anne Hathaway joining Jackman onstage to play Nixon. Don't ask me to explain.
