Charles Barkley and Jamal Anderson

The Sports Business Journal is reporting that Charles Barkley will be returning to TNT, but not until after the NBA All-Star Game. Turner Sports President David Levy told the Journal a decision on Barkley's return date would be made after this coming All-Star Weekend. Barkley has been on a leave from TNT since his DUI arrest.

In other jurisprudence news, ESPN isn't saying a whole lot about the weekend arrest of NFL commentator Jamal Anderson on charges of drug possession (cocaine and marijuana). Today's statement: "He is not currently on our schedule to work. We will announce a decision closer to next season."

ESPN said Anderson wasn't scheduled to be part of its draft coverage, so his only appearances might have been on First and 10 or an occasional SportsCenter. But the network said today it had yet to hear from him. So let's guess we won't be hearing from Anderson in an ESPN studio anytime soon.
