There will be thousands of events to attend on Jan. 20, when President-Elect Barack Obama becomes the first African-American president to be sworn into office.
The cost of most of these events will more than likely be expensive, costing thousands of dollars for a historic night of celebration.
Add to the list the Legends Ball at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, which will be hosted by Dionne Warwick and gospel artist Yolanda Adams.
Featured performances will come from gospel artists Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, The Caravans, and Smokie Norful.
Other acts include Rodney Atkins, George Clinton, Chaka Khan, The Temptations (Dennis Edwards), Harold Melvin's Blue Notes, and the H.B. Barnum Orchestra. The dress code is formal: tuxedos, ball gowns and "all of your finery."
That same night, there will be an "Urban Ball" hosted by Ludacris.
