Marvin Sapp, whose "Never Would Have Made It" has broken numerous gospel, R&B and Billboard charts, continues to show he has made it.

Recently, he was awarded the first ever BET J Virtual Award for Best Gospel Artist, according to singersroom.com.

He beat out gospel artists BeBe Winans, Mary Mary, Israel & New Breed, Kirk Franklin and Trin-I-Tee 5:7 for the honor, which was televised on BET J last week in Washington.

Sapp also won Best Gospel Artist at the BET Awards.
