Yosemite fires send tourists packing

Visitors to Yosemite National Park have been feeling the heat for days from a massive wildfire that has destroyed area homes and led to evacuations. However, inside the park, most tourists have been going about their vacations - even though power outages had some hotels using generators - while the fire raged several miles to the west of the park.

But it's all gotten to be a bit much for some campers who are packing up and heading home. Ash has been raining on tents, the air quality is very poor i.e. smoky as heck and visibility of park highlights like Glacier Point has been reduced i.e. can't see a thing. However, the park remains open.
