The Orioles have taken a 3-0 lead against the Minnesota Twins as Garrett Olson prepares for his third inning of work.

Olson has retired the first six batters he's faced and thrown 15 of 26 pitches for strikes. He's working fast and getting ahead in the count.

Melvin Mora's RBI double in the first gave the Orioles a 1-0 lead, and a Jay Payton double and Brandon Fahey grounder produced two more runs.

Twins starter Nick Blackburn nailed Ramon Hernandez on the left wrist - at least it appeared to be his wrist from up in the press box - before Payton's double. Hernandez stayed in the game.
