More than 20 General Assembly lawmakers stood in support of Rep. Albert R. Wynn on Lawyer's Mall this morning, joining the eight-term Democrat and Annapolis veteran who served for 12 years as a member of the House of Delegates and state Senate.

Wynn, who represents Maryland's 4th Congressional District which includes much of Prince George's County and some of Montgomery, needs all the help he can get in Tuesday's Democratic primary against Donna Edwards, who came very close to beating him two years ago and has fought hard this time around as well.

Flanked by Senate Pres. Thomas V. Mike Miller and about two dozen other lawmakers, Wynn was all smiles as Miller urged voters to continue to think about change, but not in this case. He noted Wynn's status as a subcommittee chairman and said later that he thought the high turnout in Prince George's County would favor the incumbent.
