Leinart ought to be practicing passes that involve footballs

You'd think Arizona quarterback Matt Leinart might have a few things to work on during the offseason, considering he has a career 71.2 passer rating with only 13 TDs and 16 interceptions in 17 NFL games.

But Leinart was back at his old stomping grounds over the weekend, meaning Pure nightclub at Caesars Palace, where he was reportedly helping reality TV person Kristin Cavallari celebrate her 21st birthday. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, which keeps track of such things, Leinart and some USC buds were in a VIP section when Cavallari arrived. The article said the two left together at about 3:30 a.m. You may recall that when Leinart was drafted in the first round by the Cardinals that he quickly skipped off to Vegas, where he partied with Paris Hilton, among others, at the same Caesars Palace night spot.

And you'll note that in the same Las Vegas column that Michael Jordan was spotted at a high rollers blackjack table at the Bellagio. Even bloggers are worthy of mention it seems. That guy who blogs about celebrities, Perez Hilton, was at a fancy nightclub at the Wynn Las Vegas. If I want to get into the papers, the coffee lady at Wegman's will have to leak it to The Sun's Laura Vozzella.
