The Ravens have just released the list of inactive players and quarterback Steve McNair and his groin injury are not on it. In fact, McNair just emerged from the tunnel and is tossing the football to Kyle Boller. Who will start at quarterback has not yet been determined.
The team deactivated running backs Mike Anderson and Cory Ross, offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden (hyperextended toe), tight end Daniel Wilcox (sprained ankle), cornerback David Pittman, linebacker Edgar Jones and kickoff specialist Rhys Lloyd. Rookie Troy Smith is designated as the third (emergency) quarterback.
The Jets also did not deactivate quarterback Chad Pennington, who has been hobbled by an ankle injury. Whether Pennington or second-year player Kellen Clemens will start is also in question.
The Jets' inactive players are tight ends Joe Kowalewski and Jason Pociask, safety Abram Elam, cornerback Drew Coleman, linebacker Cody Spencer, defensive end Mike DeVito and offensive lineman Jacob Bender. Marques Tuiasosopo is the third quarterback.
