I keep saying it can't get any worse, and then it does.
I rode the team charter last night and Brandon Fahey kept kicking the back of my seat.
But seriously...
I'm still sitting in the Tampa airport - thank goodness for free wireless - and will be heading directly to Camden Yards after landing.
First, I have to remember where I parked my new Solara at the daily lot. Yes, the '97 Cavalier has been put to rest. Thanks to the fine folks - especially Mark Erbling - at Koons Toyota Annapolis. They hooked me up like a champ.
Just one problem: Now I have to stress over where I parked my car, if anyone nicked it, etc. Someone could have thrown a brick through the Cavalier's windshield and I wouldn't have noticed.
Before I depart, I want to clear up any confusion over the "On deck" portion of today's Play It Again in The Sun, which recaps the highlights and lowlights from the previous night's game. Tim Wakefield will start tonight. He hasn't been scratched. That happened last Friday, not tomorrow. But some late-night confusion led to the information being changed after I filed, which happens in this business.
